Is there an M-MDS substitute that works with the mazda software? I'd like to be able to adjust things myself without paying the outrageous sums my dealership wants. I've got a 2010, so thats CAN.
I know the dealers use something called the VCM or VCM II. I see that some are available rather cheaply (as far my experience goes) at about $200USD.

I know that I will need the IDS software to accompany it.
Does anyone think the VCM II listed above will work? Or is there some hidden firmware that mazda dealerships have to deal with?
