Lower Lateral Link on the rear suspension - picture and question?

So I've been having suspension noise from the rear of the 5. I think the rear endlinks are partially to blame, but when I was working on it last week I snapped some pictures of a variety of suspension parts and had a mechanic friend look at them. He thinks the lower lateral links may be bad because they look like they're at an angle and he thinks they shouldn't be. I can't find pictures of any 3 or 5 lateral links when they're installed.
