Low gear throttle control and steering input.

Can one of you experimental types out there please figure out a way to either eliminate or at least reduce the throttle reduction based on steering input in these freakin cars? I actually like the reduced boost in low gear. I mean, how many tires do you need to burn through before it gets old? I have plenty of fun driving with my safety net on (it has saved me at least once). I have no problems with either of those. On the other hand, if I start out into traffic, step on the gas and go exactly nowhere one more time, I may have to get a passport just so I can go to Japan and punch an automotive engineer in the nose. Do they real world test these systems before they approve them?

Okay, this turned into a bit of a rant but, seriously, does anybody have any good ideas on this subject?

Does that hack where you hold down the DSC button for 5 seconds while starting the car change this? It obviously turns off the stability control and traction control, but I am unsure if it affects this aspect of the car. I also heard it may disable ABS. Anyone have better info on this?

I agree though, same thing has happened to me on occasion. You may wanna keep the steering pointed forward while giving it, and then turn the wheel once you have enough momentum. This obviously would not work with a U-turn, but if you are just pulling out into traffic (typical 90 degree turn), it may help.
