First post and an explanation of why I'm here!
I'm planning on embarking on a project for a purpose built mid engine track and auto-x car, built on a tube chassis, using Miata suspension, MX-3 transaxle and CV shafts, with a KLDE power plant. The front suspension will be a complete Miata subframe and steering rack, bolted to the chassis in an Exocet type fashion. The rear end will be a custom tube frame to house the engine and transaxle, but based on a Miata rear subframe, using the stock control arms and locations. It will be an open aired single seated short wheelbase racer.
I have some questions regarding the combination of MX-3 and MX-6 drivetrain and harness.
1. Is the KLDE directly 'plug and play' into a MX-3 harness?
2. Will the KLDE perform on the MX-3s ECU? If not, does the KLDE ECU use the same pin out as the MX-3 ECU?
I had more question when a began writing this post, though they've since escaped me. When they come back I'll post those as well.
