essentially all the dealers I have talked to have said the best replacement tire for the 3 is the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S, especially if you live in the northeast like I do. There is a lot better wet/snow traction and there isnt much of a handling tradeoff.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. I like Michelin tires, they aren't racing tires, but they do have good performance and value.

the only issue I have with those miches is that they're a little pricey.. but they've got a long treadlife and they're rated excellent across the board.
