Limited Edition Seats

I have an '02 P5 with leather interior. The seats say " Limited Edition" on them. I was wondering if anyone had any information on a limited edition P5 or maybe these are just aftermarket seatcovers.

my buddy has leather seats in his P5 as well, they came with his car which he got new.

Leather seats was an added to the list of options for the 03's and 03.5's

previous owner could have had them stitched in possibly or even the dealership, some dealerships do stuff like that just to up the price making you think its something special thus worth more.

Junior, are you in Canada? I remember someone who came out to one of our meetings once had a P5 (pretty sure it was an 02) that had a couple extras like leather seats and chrome rims; he mentioned something about it being a limited edition. I never looked inside so I don't know if they had "limited edition" stitched on them, but it does kind of sound like your situation... Unless it was something 'special' that some dealerships did on their own?

I've got the factory seats in my '02, but they are stitched with the Mazda logo in white. Is this every MP5?

mine are just plain black. well perforated black leather.

I bought the car used about 6 months ago. It already had aftermarket wheels and a few other little things. I have no clue of what exactly came stock on it. The only reason I think that the seats are stock are the fact that the rest of the interior matches perfectly. I don't have any pics but the seats are black with yellow insersts in the middle.

No. The only yellow is on the seats.

i was just guessing that the previous owner painted the silver parts yellow to match the seat. but the seat is not factory. maybe a dealer option or something.

No. The only yellow is on the seats.

nice.. i want better seats. got the non-leather stock seats lol... girlfriend and her pets get hair everywhere. pisses me off. just like my neighbor's cat left a thanks for your hood scratch on it.
