Strictly HDRs

I have been dwelling into HDRs lately and I would like to see more from people here, I would like to see the befor and after if you guys can do that aswell..... Lets see them HDRs guys - ill start us off. I took Altspaces Ride and tried it out....

All i do for single shots, is take it and copy it three times and change the levels of light ect. and in each seperate copy then i put them together.

lets see them man, got any of your car? I find it really hard to HDR not like really close up shots of cars, but pretty close shots tend to give me problems....And what program do you use?

Joe, I dont have all my pics here at work. I will post some when I get home in a few hours. :D
I use photomatix, paint, and some wierd program that came with my printer. hehe

For close ups, try a macro setting with a tri pod.

I use photomatix also... That and PS to edit the single shots... I need to purchase a tri-pod because the single shots are not cutting it lol

Heres another :)

nice AWD those pics look amazing, what program are you using for pics and great thread too Joe Vance

I'm interested in this.. Do you guys take 1 picture and change it up in photoshop or do you do 3 different exposures and combine them then?

you take multiple pics and that how you get the really good ones, you can do it with one photo i believe but the wont come out as good as the ones done with multiple pics.

I've found that Photomatix does a much better job in the batch conversion than just PS alone. However, with the right actions you can create similar effects, hence why I get asked all the time if some of my photos are HDR. In terms of exposure settings, some go +3 or 4 EV higher or lower. You can't really fake a photo in PS by simply adjusting the exposures to create an HDR image. Does not come out the same way, if even possible at times.

Now these are amazing HDR photos! http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2008/03/10/35-fantastic-hdr-pictures/

Those are some crazy HDRs Altspace...Wish i could do that.

I really need to figure out how to bracket my camera to where it will change exposures for each seperat shot without me having to manually move it. If anyone knows about the Olympus Evolt E-500 Let me know because i could really use some help figureing that out.

I was referring to the ones you posted in the link, everyone of the HDRs i posted were of one picture just adjusting exposure in PS aswell. thats why im asking about the brackets havent had a chance to try out changing exposure with the camera...lol still havent foudn my tri-pod
