These arrived from Poland:
I'll have better pictures tomorrow in the daylight. I need to fix the arm rest cover so the creases go away... and redo the shift boot. xD

Looks really good. wow so many pictures. I thought I took a lot of my car. Keep up the good work.

ooOo borla cbe nice addition.

i think we need to merge all your picture threads you have! it would be a sexy white ms3 extravaganza!

Yeah, I'll be keeping everything in here now for better organization! :D

Looking great as always Lara! Just curious as why you did not go with matching red stitching? We should have met up at OCC. :(

Thanks. :)

Truth be told... I am not a fan of red on my car and wanted something different. Hahah.

Seriously I'd love to have you do a rig shot with my car. Your work is amazing. My inspiration.

Oh my, you are a sweetheart. I'd love to do some rig shot work with you! Maybe I'll make it over to Cape Cod this summer... if so we'll definitely do some rig photography!

Anyways...

Here is how my car currently sits:

MS3_LOL.jpg

The story: I had to take the car to get the ClearBra re-done for a third time on Monday. They had the car until Wednesday night, when I was finally able to pick it up. Thursday morning it started to rain and the ClearBra edges started lifting up... so I've been rolling around with painter's tape all over the damn car in hopes that it'll hold the edges down long enough for the adhesive in the ClearBra to cure. >_> Argh.

hahaha, thats funny

as for the shifter boot and armrest cover, the LOOK good, but don't match the rest of the stitching in the car...

Why did you have to have it redone a 3rd time? Mine has been on a year no 0 problems (knock on wood)

Where did you guys buy them (website?) and does dirt get trapped between the crease, along the edge of it? ANd how much would I expect to pay if you don't mind me asking?

And yeah, why 3 times?

I paid $700ish to get the hood, bumper, mirror caps, head lamps and fog lights done. Unfortunately the first two times the shop did it, they were using a bad roll... so the edges kept coming up and dirt and road grime kept getting underneath it.

$700 is a good deal, what brand of film were they using? I got a quote for $750 for venture shield but ended up paying $820 for Avery. Every other quote I got for 3M or whoever was around $1,000. I get a little dirt around the edges by the fog lights but not too much.

It is called StoneShield I believe. It comes with a 5-year warranty against bubbling, yellowing, cracking, etc. :)

Mine came with a 5 year warranty too but it doesnt cover labor. If the entire thing had to be replaced at 7.5hrs to do it plus the time to remove the old one, probably cost more than I originally paid.
