Alright, I have been going through the threads under this section trying to find out which Rotor/pad combo to go with. I hear pro's and con's for all but I did not find much info on the KVR cross-drilled rotors sold at corksport.

Anyway, I am torn between the

-KVR Cross-drilled (Corksport)
-EBC Sport Grooved (*************)
-Stoptech Slotted (*************)
-Centric OE replacement (ProtegeGarage)

I am looking for some responses with your personal experiences and opinions on which rotor to go with.

My MSP is a DD and would only see a few AutoX's a year. So i know i do not need anything aggressive. I like the look of slotted and or drilled rotors, but i do not want to be eating up brake pads that are meant for the street.

I would just go with the Centrech OE replacement, but it looks like PG only carries the Front set.

I am leaning towards EBC Green stuff pads also unless anyone can tell me i need to go another direction.

Thanks in advance for the help!

I originally wanted the EBC setup but I kept hearing problems with brake fade and noise

in all reality I would think at most what you would want is a set of slotted rotors with either posi-quiet pads or hawk HPS for a little more bite

I have the EBC slotted with the green stuff pads and love them. They perform well and are pretty quiet in my opinion. I have had them for almost 2 years now or maybe alittle longer. I don't remember when I put them on.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure the OEM pads/rotors are EBC.

As far as the EBC combo's rumors of squeaking, all brakes are going to squeak if your romping on your brakes the minute you install them. They have to gradually make their groove in the rotors. I worked at a part store for over a year, and sold the quite a few EBC packages with no complaints.

If It were my car, I would probably buy the EBC slotted rotors and the hawk HPS ferro-compound pads. I had a lot of autocross guys tell me they love the adaptability of the HPS's on the track and street, and were actually recommended to be by a guy who auto crosses an old school gutted/stripped/caged 911 turbo.

Yeah, I'd take his word for it. Lol.

I have Stoptech Slotted and EBC GreenStuff Pads, and im loving them so far. stops so great :D
