I am having a problem opening my door using the key fob. At least half the time it takes several tries of pushing the door button before the door will unlock. I thought it may be a battery problem so I changed the battery in the key fob. It didn't help. The key fob has to be very close to the door button, when it used to work when it was in my pocket.
A couple of times when I go to start the car I get a message saying low battery. This can't be true because it is a new battery.
I seem to notice that the door button is stiff when the key fob doesn't work, and then it becomes pliable when it does work. This may be my imagination but seems that way to me.
Has anyone else had this problem? Any solutions? THANKS!
