After a while of having my car now I've already gotten used to or forgotten little annoyances (mainly squeaks and creaks), except for one lasting one:

Stuff keeps sliding from my passenger seat to the backseat floor through that gap in the seat!!

It's kind of annoying since I usually keep stuff on that seat once in a while and it just disappears. I can't even leave papers on the seat! Has anyone found this annoying or has come up with a solution?

Havnt had that much of an issue with the seats. but the glove box is another story. If you have too much stuff in there and u close it hard the top stuff falls behind there. So u have to take out the glove box to retrieve your item.

LOL,,, the losing paper in the passanger seat thing just happened to me yesterday. I had a meeting with a client, and put the stuff on the seat next to me... when I got to the meeting, I noticed that I was missing the contract.... I was like, Oh s*** and ran back to the car to find it laying on the floor behind the passenger seat. It must have slipped out of the folder it was in...

Happens all the time...

I have to prop something solid behind the paper so they they don't fly back.

It's an annoyance, that's f'sure.

I've got the problem, too. I have leather seats. I've always wondered -- does it happen to cloth seats, too?

i have that problem too...putting things on the passenger seat and it slides back inbetween the cracks and falls back...or on the floor if it rolls...it roll from rear seat to the front and back and forth which blows

And it's even worse when it falls on the floor behind and then moves up to under the front passenger seat!
I'm always printing out mapquest directions or have CDs on the seat. If the CDs are stacked 2 high, the top one will slide back. And we all know how fun it is to reach for something on the floor behind the passenger seat!!! :D

This is just an odd Protege thing, I guess, because I've never had that happen so much with another car.

maybe if I get some sticky foam insulation stuff and put it there?

yeah, I just toss my stuff into the rear floorboard because that's where it's going to end up anyway.

That was going to be my suggestion. Get some cheap, decent ones and that should help you out. :)

i have no problem on that front but in my mustang the t tops was an issue at 153 mph i lost every thing and the back came right off the f***en ground. Damn ford. Now that was a problem

Ya, I always get s*** falling through the seat. Try stuffing like a face cloth in there or something maybe?
