Kartboy Shifter Bushings installed

Well, I took a few minutes this afternoon and installed the Kartboy shifter busings on my P5. I was pretty easy; it only took about 20 minutes, most of which was jacking up the car. The old bushing is one piece and is a pain to get out. I just brute forced it with my fingers until it came out. You may be able to use a pair of channel locks or something to force it out too.

Anyway, the bushings definitely give a more solid, definite feel to the shift on the P5. Keep in mind too that I already had a B&M short throw shifter installed, and this improved on that! Anyway, I'm a happy camper. If you have any questions, shoot away!

I have a question:
Did you use a lock washer or anything on the bolt that holds the bushing in place?
Thanks for your help!

no, I didn't use a lock washer, but I don't think one would hurt. However, there wasn't one there to begin with, so I didn't worry about it. I just put it on pretty snug and that was it!
