K&N, ApEXi, HKS filter......

well I want to replace the filter on my bombz ebay intake, but I dotn know what to get, there are K&N filters on ebay for anywhere from 17 plus shipping to 30 or 40.

What I really want to know is there is a shitload of listings for HKS or APEXi "style" filters for anywhere from 1 cent to 19bux. How close to the real thing are these. I mean I laughed when I saw on the APEXi style one the description said they had seen 15-20rwhp gains from it, im like bslieshaxx, but the HKS style ones are supposed to be made out of good stuff and u can supposedly use a K&N cleaning kit on em....they any good?


I saw somewhere the APEXi filter was supposed to have the most suction but I dont know.

the apexi filter is by far the best one out there...im considering replacing my AEM filter with the HKS one..but i dont think it will fit..

right now there is one on ebay for cheap..but i think i will outbid anyone who triffles..they go for over 100$ new..

the paper filters (k&N, apexi) flow better than foam when clean but the foam filters(HKS) flow better than the paper when dirty, so if you clean your filters a lot i would go with the k&n or apexi, but if you live on a dirt road or are to lazy to clean your filter often go with the HKS.
