Spirited Green 2012 Mazda2 Touring
Thanks!

I lurked around this forum for a couple of months before finally buying my 2012 SG 2 Touring a couple of weeks ago, and all of your comments/stories/etc were very helpful in my decision making.

I love this car. I'm still getting used to the attention I get with this thing. I've been getting compliments from people next to me at the gas station, giving me my coffee in the drive thru and more than once leaving a store to find people walking around my car checking it out in the parking lot then stopping me to ask about it. I honestly haven't passed another one of on the road since I've bought it and that's more than fine by me.

Thanks again, now back to lurking...

the girls used to say how cute my car was (even before the wrap) while at the drive thru at chic fil a.

didnt know how to take it at first. cuz i mean its not a miata. but hey. girls likes it. guys learn to love it. racecar.

Welcome! Are you in Louisville by any chance? Congrats on your 2, it's a really fun daily driver and I get a lot of comments as well... Personally, I struggled over buying the green or silver. I often wish I had gone green...

If you do live in louisville please tell me youre a decent human being (not a louisville fan)...im originally from somerset some Im a bit bias.

Anyway...welcome!

i live in southern indiana, work in louisville and have been a diehard uk fan for 25 years.

weird i know, but it's just how things worked out.

back to the 2...i've seen it addressed here before but it blows my mind how little advertising they do for it. the two biggest mazda dealers in louisville both have had full sheet ads in the newspaper for the past month without a single mention of the 2. every other mazda model has a pic/price and the rest of the ad is used car listings. un-be-lievable.

also took my first 200+ mile road trip in the 2 this weekend. the ride was smooth and comfortable and i finally met another one on the road just outside of indianapolis. tried waving, then flipping her off but couldn't get her attention.

I bought my car in Kentucky at Paul Miller Ford in Lexington. I'm only about an hour from KY but I'm over here on the eastern side..

i get tons of compliments on my car from random people. mostly other women but w/e hahaha. they love it! i love it! :)

I grew up in Louisville - my whole family is still there... When I was back in August, I was surprised to see a number of 2s around town. Especially because it's a big sedan kind of town. Except for minis. Glad to see the 2 getting some kentuckiana/virginia-ana love!
