I've Read the Posts, I Have the Removal Tools, I Can't Get My Radio Out!

The left side wants to come out no problem. The right side doesn't seem like it even has clips. The removal tools just want to go in all the way without engaging anything. When I think something is engaged, I bend them outwards as per the instructions, and the damn tools just bend. I'm getting really frustrated. I have a new unit all wired up to a new harness ready to go in and I can't get this POS out. Is there another way? I've spent too much time on this. It's an '02 ES Sedan with 6-disc if it matters.

I got it. The bracket on the right side was completely out of whack. I took the glovebox out and went at it from that angle, no problem.
