Has anyone actually seen our cars (MSPs/Proteges) tail lights at night??? I did last night and I almost yacked! I didn't think they were THAT bad!!! It shouldnt' be a bit deal but... it is!!!

Before anyone starts yellin about how I shouldn't buy Altezzas (I'm with you!!! talk about jumpin the shark!!) however, I'm sure most of you have seen Vodopass's taillights. (he's the dude with the Orange Speed that lives in Hawaii (lucky bastard!)) I don't want to bug him cuz I've bugged him enough already.

Does anyone know where I can find these at a good price?

You can get them at Street Beat Customs. I have had mine on for awhile an I love them.

Although if you want I have some stock ones from my 2000 DX for sale.

funny you should mention the Camry reference, I sometimes get them confused at night from a distance (thinking it's a Protege)

the other one that looks sorta similar are 2000-2002 hyundai accent 4-doors

after seeing those pictures of the Accent and how similar the tail lights are... I have decided to drive to work tomorrow without any tail lights at all. hopefully the cops won't mind.

"but officer... my car looks like a hyundai accent with the stock tail lights!! give me a week and I'll have some cool replacements!!"

I like those lights and i actually almost bought them, til I saw, either a Kia or Hyundai with almost identical taillights to those replacements. That pretty much changed my mind. I was either thinking of redding out my lights so there is no white strip or getting altezzas, taking them apart and painting all the chrome tha same color as my car.

I must be the only one that thinks the stock tails on the MSP with the pink smoked turn lense looks good.BUT,on the orange MSP ,the tails look like the pink is actually smoked orange and this is why i love them.Another item on the car from the factory that goes with the paint scheme(also stiching on the seats)How much better can it get for factory.Also,our tals do look like new camry tails or hyundai tall from the accent.The camry looks good and is toyotas version of the Lexus GS ,so what is wrong with looking like that.My boss has an '02 Camry and i love driving that car.It rolls out and doesn't look too bad in the process.It has great accelleration and the The handling absolutely AMAZED ME for what the car is.Slap on a good ol' set of chrome 20's on a black one and you got one slick ride.

The hyundai simply put......NO!

Correction: the Camry is Toyota's version of the Lexus ES330, not the GS. They are different platforms, drive layouts and motors.

ok, ok... here ya go... Couldn't find a MSP with these lights however I would say an ES should substitute it quite nicely.

You mean like these? Chico you know you can always ask me if you need anything. However, it looks like you already have a good recomendation for where to get a pair for a good price. $150 isn't bad. Ebay's worth checking too. Mine are the APCs as for the all red ones you can find those on Cork Sport's website. These aren't for everybody and that's what I like about them. I'm the only sedan in my club that has them. To each their own is my view.
