Will my Protege5 Continue in a whirlwind of Awesomeness?

We dont know.

Here is the latest issue.

As some know I have a noise coming from the front end. Its eitehr my tired or the wheel bearing.

As of a few weeks ago i started to loose alittle bit of brake fluid. I had replaced the front left caliper and though maybe the washer was leaking or the bleed screw wasnt tight enough. no biggie i tightened them up and it was ok.

so meat and potatos last ngiht driving from my parents house to a freinds house the pedal basiclly went all the way down. had to pump it back up.

filled it up and it was low real low. drove back hoem and it got softer and softer.

So im thinking a few things.

#1 the clutch is leaking into the tranny which is causing my noise and then bye bye protege5

#2 got a leak on a caliper i jsut replaced and the bearings are shot.

So with over 200,000 miles on it if it costs any mroe then $1000 to fix I think it might be going out for parts.

check for, leaks in the lines(dryrot).. could be a bad master cylinder. make sure you only have 2 washers on the caliper banjo bolt..

noise, lift up front end, wobble wheel left and right, and up and down.. up and down could be the movement, and if so, it's the noise of a wheel bearing.. also, spin the tires, see if you hear any sound from the wheels/bearing..

I checked to make sure the old washers came out when i changed it. I think the bleedermight be backing out a bit.

checked for the bearing a few times. solid as a rock.

well. if it's the bleeder.. tighten it. and bearings dont HAVE to make noise to be bad.. you have a lot of miles.. might just be time.

i have tightened it.

and i meant htere is no play in it. i think its time too.

200054 miles as of last night. its scarey especialyl since i put them all on

the brake fluid from the clutch will not leak into the transmission since the clutch line doesn't even go into the tranny. It will leak onto it but that can be cleaned up.
