iPhone/iPod through USB does not play correct song!

I'm having an issue with my iPhone and iPod connected via USB. For some odd reason, when I browse for a song through the CX5 infotainment system, the car plays a different song than what is displayed on the screen! I've tried turning off the car, using two different ipods (ipod and iphone 5), and still no luck. Has anyone else had this issue?

Sometimes via bluetooth you have to wait or go to the next song for it to update the display properly, but it sounds like that is a different issue.
