Injen air filter washable???

Ok so I just got the injen cai for my 2.0. But the filter is really dirty. Is there a way to clean it or is it washable. If it is how do I do it put it in the dishwasher? Or just submerge it in soap and water? Thanks anything will help

Ps I bought it used on hear without a manual.

they are all washable but it depends on if it's an oiled filter(like the k&n) or dry flow

dry flow- i know you are s'posed to blow the dirt off with compressed air or something similar, not to sure about washing it

oiled- get the recharge kit for K&N....it has the cleaning spray and the oil spray

And here's my procedure for cleaning and oiling a Halltech intake filter. Your Injen can probably be done the same way.

The filter shown is above a cold air cutout, so that section of the filter gets black after a while.

that would be an oiled filter.....you can use the K&N recharger kit with that
