what's up. I finally joined this site, I've been reading it for months now but finally decided to start an account. I know there are only about four of you here so I figured I'd let you know that there is now one more. I've had my P5 for about 14 months now, no performance mods yet only exterior/interior stuff. I'm surprised more people aren't on this site, but then again I have not seen a single modded protege, MSP, or MP3 in town. I have seen one modded P5 and heard about another, but for the most part everyone here in Abq is into their little hondas. Nice to finally see that there are at least a few protege people here.

Usually the furthest South I go is either Lomas (I skate a lot at Los Altos and I go to Rich Mazda occassionally) or Gibson and Broadway (I did volunteer work at a school down there this year). I don't know if that helps you tell if it was me, maybe it doesn't. Oh well.

I still wear only skate shoes, and buy the new videos when they come out. Tony Hawk is still played a ton over here too. So I guess I skated for about 10 years. My best friend and I got the Los Alamos skatepark built back in the day, and we used to ride for Beyond Waves skateshop, and Planks skateboards in Santa Fe.
I'd like to bust out my board and come skate with you sometime man. I have an old Tom Penny deck from Flip, rolling on big ol' park wheels and indy trucks. I might still be able to 360 flip or something.

I have seen you. I usually cruise up by Tramway and all the way down to the highway, not on Paseo a lot, though. As a matter of fact, I was thinking of going for a cruise with my dog later today after work. I live on Osuna and San Pedro.

Well in terms of modding, I don't really have the fundage right now ( I just blew a bunch of money on a new keyboard for my band....). But I have dreams. :-D of rims and tires and such.aceP5 said:

I just finished painting the third one today. I don;t have any jackstands so it takes a while - I have to do one at a time. But hopefully I'll see you driving someday.

well I'll introduce my self also. I am Joe Davis, My wife and I own a 02.5 black mica p5. We live on the SW side of town. The wife drives the car to work everyday so you guys may have seen her around. She works off of Jeffersn and Singer near the centry rio theater.
Our p5 is all stock but I plan on a ms exhaust andan injen intake, and some rims and a/v system.
I also used to skate a long time ago. My lil bros are into it know. I bought a new board about 1 1/2 years ago. Its a CCS deck with indepedant trucks. I have been to Los Altos a few times.

Cool, nice to meet you. I'll keep an eye out for you. You should come skate with me and Rich sometime? Let me know when you start to mod your car. I also have a pretty much stock set-up but am eager to do stuff. I am primarily worried about how the dealer will handle my warranty after I modify my car, I'm actually gonna go to the dealer soon to ask them about it. So I'll let you know what I find out.
