Hello, I have a 2008 cx-7 that is having an interesting idle issue. The OBD codes I got back were P2187 (system to lean at idle) and P0442 (Evap Control System Leak).
I have noticed that every time I stop to fill the vehicle with gas and then start it, the idle runs at about 1000 rpms and then slowly declines, until it dies, or I rev the engine slightly to bring them back up. Reving the engine a bit does not always prevent the vehicle from dying, but does work the majority of the time. Also from doing the ground paper test, there may be a very slow leak at the front right portion of the vehicle, possibly the radiator. I had the rear O2 sensor replaced as suggested by the mechanic but it did not fix the problem. Any suggestions?
Thanks
