I got arrested AGAIN!

Yep driving home from work last night I got stopped for no front plate, I just got my bumper painted and it was still in my front window. Cop runs my information and it turns out that my lawyer, whom I just gave $2K to, never attended my arraignment for a speeding ticket like he was supposed to.

Cop comes up to the window tells me I have 3 bench warrants out for my arrest because I didn't show up to my court date (pissed) So I get cuffed and stuffed, car gets towed etc. etc.

One of the warrants was for failure to provide proof of insurance (dark) I have had full coverage on the car ever since I bought it!

So after spending a couple hours being humiliated at the police station I was allowed to drive home. Of course now I have to go to court to clear up the bench warrants.(smash)

Needless to say I know a certain lawyer who is getting a phone call early this morning.

I'm so pissed off. I called the day before the araignment and his secretary was like "You're all set. Atty. Moses is working everything out with the prosecutor." Apparently this is not the case.
If I didnt get stopped for a front plat I wouldve never known I had warrants out for not going to court. And if I didnt have warrants out I wouldve gotten a warning for no front plate. :mad:

Well I dont want to piss him off either. Hopefully this can be used to my advantage in the long run. He did tell me that he would get me off with no license suspension, no community service, no BS... Just a fine for driving without a license 2nd offense, and failure to stop at a stop sign. Other lawyers said I was going to jail.

I just got off the phone with the court they had no appearance filed by my lawyer. I am still waiting to hear back from my lawyer about this mess. I hope I can get out of having to go to court for this bench warrant BS. He should make an appearance for me free of charge since it is his fault. Douchebag (gun)

cops suck. -=\ back in 99 i got caught with a unloaded pistol in my car.and in 2000 i got arrested for punching a cop. now every traffic stop is like a ******* raid.. where i have to get out the car and lay on the ground an s***. makes u wonder what they have in their notes..

I just got off the phone with him. I expressed that I was not very impressed with having to deal with the BS I went through last night. Of course he is putting it all on the prosecutors head. Regardless, he says he is taking care of it and I wont have to go to the court date for my bench warrants. I dont ******* trust him now.
He knows the prosecutor very well though so I dont want to get on either of their bad sides yet since I still havent been to trial. Most of the cops have told me that I will get at least 6 months suspension and a couple said to expect a couple of weeks in county. (fu)
This guy says he can get me out with nothing but a fine. (thumb)
******* sucks either way. We'll see what happens.

Oh and I just had the insurance company fax me proof of insurance for the past year so hopefully at least the no proof of insurance s*** will get dropped. Stupid cunts.
