I finally did it too!!

Mark,

HF is opening a new store in Fall River on April 26. They still have that jack on sale for 80 bucks. I've got a flyer for 10% off. I think I'm going down after the 26th for a jack. Are you interested?

definetly!

Cool. Will let you know when.

Did some more work today on the Miata. Changed out the Tranny fluid with Redline MT90.

Also cut off the bottom of the accelerator pedal for better room and less ankle angle.

Drove around top down all weekend, listening to the engine rev. What a sweet sound. The old P5 never sounded this good.

i hear you, but don't be hatin on the p5!! ;)

Josh, I looked at the rustoleum paint, when I was talking about painting the calipers. When I looked at the instructions, it's not meant for temps over 200 F. Been to Lowes and HD, nothing else for a high temp paint that's not a spray.

Any other ideas? Still looking at G2 for now. Going to look some more at other hw stores tomorrow.

Don't need high temp paint for them. Unless you plan to auto-x a lot! I've applied it to my Integra, Jeep, P5, and my RX-8 calipers. Works great.

My favourite pic of Mia, as my wife calls her. The rims are starting to grow on me.

Thanks for the photo Josh. Current installed on my desktop.

Not comfortable putting on paint that's not high heat. I will keep looking. The G2, although pricey, stood up very well on the P5. I only had to repaint when replacing the calipers.

If you plan on doing this soon let me know... I need it badly and we can team up.

I think Auto Zone carries a caliper paint system... It's not G2, but I can't remember the name.

3 years on my P5, was never an issue. Heck, it's the same stuff Mark and I used inside the engine bay. I even painted the trans housing with it. But if you feel more comfortable with other stuff I understand.

Pretty sure we've established that you never drive your cars Josh...so of course there was never an issue!

They sell Duplicolor paint system. Good price but the yellow they have is too bland.

I would be glad to help you out. Only problem is you can't drive the car for 24 hours, so you need to do it and let it sit overnight, at least for G2.

I hear you, but I have had the brakes once and awhile smoking, so 200F won't cut it. Not worth it to me to save 25 bucks for paint.

I wish the duplicolor was a brighter yellow for the caliper kit. 17 bucks at autozone is pretty good.

I just need to do my rotors... I thought you only had to let it sit a few hours and then you are good to go.
