Everyone that doesn't live in New Mexico.:D You guys are missing out on some awesome food, mainly because all of us New Mexicans eat up all of the good chili before it leaves the state.;)

Do any of you guys or gals who live elsewhere have a place to get good red or green chili? You are truely missing out if you don't.

This is what some of the local cuisine looks like today, from a little shack in Los Alamos called Chili Works:

YUMMMMMMY!!! There IS a burrito swimming in that lake, I swear.:)
Now if only we didn't have such crappy seafood.(hand)

whadya do, just stir it all together, and inject it right to your veins?lol...that does look good though.

That food doesn't look all that great... but I was near the Mexican border down towards Brownsville, TX this summer and they had some great Mexican food around those parts. The good Mexican food extended way up into San Antonio...
gained many pounds down there!

Hahaha, yes I was joking. It looks great to me because I love chili and always order XXX chili on my burritos, but I can understand why most people would be like wtf?

Man, you really have no idea what you're talking about, lol.:) That red chili is so fuggin good. It has a nice sweet start and then gets medium hot. Maybe it doesn't look good to you since there is triple chili or something, but I just don't really see what isn't to like...

Meat, good...
Beans, good...
Cheese, good...
Tortilla, good...
Salad, good...
Tons of Chili, DAMN good.

:)

is that from the place we ate at?

No, that was Ortegas in Albuquerque. Chili Works is up north of where we were about 110 miles.

I prefer the ghetto ass taco trucks.

LOL, if I'm in the mood for tacos, I totally agree with you. If I need a burrito though, there is nothing like a combo burrito plate smothered in extra x-mas chili.:D

yuck! thats terrible! i have never seen mexican food prepared that bad here in LA. i would have had a fit, given it back and demanded a refund. what are we animals. the picture irritates me just thinking about it and i'm not even hungry.

just the thread i need
i got a quesadilla maker as a present ... any suggestions as to what to put in it? (ive tried zatarans dirty rice and cheese, and ive tried cheese and chicken) its getting boring ...

by the way, it looks discusting, but i had some red chili and enchilattas (i cant spell anything y'all eat over there) while i was in NM it was yummy... didnt really care too much for the green chili tho
