HU faceplate creak

I noticed it about 2 weeks ago. I can hear it when turning or going over bumps. I can also replicate it just by pressing on it with my fingers. It's basically driving me insane!!!!

Now, is this fixable? Will the dealer want to fix it? I took the radio out but couldn't figure out how to fix it myself.

Oh and the reason I only noticed it 2 weeks ago is because all I could hear before was the windows rattling.

I love this car but I basically bought it 'cause I was fed up with all the rattles/creaks/squeaks in my old car (scratch)

I'll figure it out in about two weeks. I have to get my Evap Solenoid replaced and have them look at my bumper cover (they put a new one on and it's coming off and paint is falling off). Hopefully this can be resolved.

Yes, post if you find out anything. I have the same cracking noise, otherwise the car is rattle free.

You wanna talk about rattles? Wifey is talking about starting a family. (shudder) I can picture it now... rattles in the back seat, rattles in my nerves.

Good thing is, this appears to have been a fleeting, "Wouldn't it be nice if..."-type of scenario, hopefully to be revisited no earlier than the car loan is paid!

Hope you have better luck with this than I'm having with my rattles
I went to the dealer tuesday night and was told I'd have to live with it. Can't be fixed. Apparently I wasn't the first one to complain about this issue. Oh well, I guess I can try buying the metra kit and an aftermarket radio... That would get rid of the HU creaks... But I don't really wanna change it 'cause I like the way it looks right now... Decisions, decisions... (dunno)
