How well will the MSP rims hold up to salt?

I am freaking out everytime there is salt on the road. I clean my rims every time I get back home but now its too cold and everything just freezes before I can wipe them off. Am I gunna have some bad looking rims if I dont clean them everyday.

Salt on rims

Probably not. It's a factory part and wty replacement if they got bad unreasonably soon. In the winter I get a wash (with wheel and underbody spray) every time I fill up. But the salt will take it's toll over time, probably with small pits, etc.

It's the aftermarket rim finishes the worry me. I want to move up to 17" but I also need to find a brand that will keep looking good after a couple years on a daily driver.

I switched to steelies for 2 reasons:

-winter driving
-salt not good for rims

just my opinion, but I would avoid exposing them to salt...especially in salt-crazy states like Ohio...

3rd reason, cheaper winter rubber.
4th, do it yourself wheel changes
5th, no need to get tires installed and balanced twice a year
6th, hit a pothole or curb, by a new $40 steelie, not a $300 Racing Hart.
