How to tune AWR adjustable swaybar endlinks?

Hey Guys,
Today I installed my AWR front endlinks and they are beautiful. Now I am wondering what tightening and loosening the endlink will do. I have some expierience with tunable swaybars as I race for Tq Racing with nitro offroad R/C cars on the professional level. Any advice would be great.

Thanks,
The Kid

can't say you wanna "tune" the endlinks that way. you want them as tight as can be on the sway bar and the strut tab.. HOWEVER, you want the sway bar to be parallel with the ground. that will get the most out of your bars.

In addition to what has been mentioned you want to adjust them so the bar has no preload from side to side when steering in the straight ahead direction. Car should be on a flat floor for this adjustment. For general road use no additional adjustment is needed.

Thanks, Great answer

Just kidding, man. Keep updating here. I had to murder my endlinks to get them off the oem bar. I reused them, but at some point will replace them, and I might as well upgrade, if they're good.

yea, thats pretty much the same reason why i put them on as well, and they are so much nicer to deal with and the quality is wonderful.

you guys are nuts. no way i'd spend 130.00 on a set of endlinks. go make your own. with better quality..

check 808p5s how to on endlinks.

I have AWR endlinks attached to the front factory sways(would have bought OEM endlinks but the AWR's weren't that much more$)
Anyways, have you guys noticed any clunking noises with your setups after installing the endlinks? I can't quite figure out whether if it's the endlinks that are causing the clunk or if they're from improperly seated Tein stechs on the Tokico Illumina struts....which I've double checked. They seem to clunk once after each right or left turn from each side. hmmm???...

search the forum.

your clunking is caused from lack of washers on your tabs.

I've read the forum on the washer fix. Not sure if that'll fix the clunk issue cause the nuts on top of the struts are pretty snug(no play at all).
Is that what you mean by "tabs"?

no. washers/rubber grommets on the endlink tabs. one on the strut, one on the swaybar.. look up brian MP5T his clunk fix.

thanks guys. that clears things up. I'll try the rubber washer fix.
...i thought for sure it was the strut/spring that was making the clunk noise until now.
