How much HP from upped boost?

Does anyone have a general estimate of how much HP is produced by upping your boost? Is there a general rule of thumb that per every PSI = HP? I am running AEM CAI, hardpipes, greddy bov, no bpv, stock engine internals.

i'd guess around 175whp with your other mods, other people have dyno'd at similar boost levels, their numbers are around here i'm sure or they'll chime in soon

Usually..it's 10hp per psi.

but it all depends on size of turbo. Also, supporting mods.

as was said, i've heard about 10hp=1psi, but i'm sure 10psi on a t-25 is a little different than 10psi on a 20g or a t-88

My car made 198 whp and 206 torque bone stock at 10psi.. exhaust and intake make a big diffrence, as does the FMIC, haven't dyno'ed it since though.. good luck.

that seems about 20 whp to high... msps are around 150 whp.. gaining 48 whp off of 4 psi seem way to unrealistic...

you also have to account for where in the compressor map the turbo is. what i mean is, adding 1 psi at 19 psi on a t25 will gain far less than adding 1 psi when at 12 psi due to the efficiency of the turbo and where it is on the compressor map. so you can't really say 1psi=10hp, it's more complicated than that

as stated in every other post, each MSP is completely different. I put down 158 when i was completely stock...

um the smaller the turbo, the more hp per psi i believe. i could be wrong, but the msp should put out more hp per psi than the t-88.
