How many miles have you gone after the fuel warning light came on?

I went 30 miles on I 80 the other day going 70-80mph. It took the needle a little beyond the empty indicator. I am interested to hear how far other people have gone and under what circumstances.

I went about 30 miles as well... judging by the amount it took to fill up afterwards I probably could have went another 20-30. (I was going 130 km/h for that 50 km of driving)

I don't normally run it that low but I was on the highway and didn't have time to fill up before I left home.

We usually go about 30 miles on reserve. We have been going about 385 miles on a tank of gas and that is about 16.5 gal if i remember. Do not try to go lower than that as the needle was VERY LOW.
