How long will they last?

Anybody know about how long the stock springs last on a P-5?
The reason I'm asking is, my car sure feels alot softer, and tends to sway more than it used to.

I have 30000+ miles. Might it be time for some Eibach's or Tein's?

I'm sure they will last more than 30k. As far as I know springs (unless trama induced) don't usually go bad. Shocks on the other hand...

your struts are the ones that will go before the springs. it sounds like your having a damper problem. upgrade your struts.

j/k - you may have a few issues since you do regularly
push your p5 pretty hard. Just get the suspension upgrades
and then you can drive the curvys even faster.

They are great! At first I thought they were no better than the stock one's. Then I went to a canyon and really felt a big change. Really stable.
The install is really pretty easy. Just time consuming. I had it done at the dealer, because I did'nt want to deal with the hassle.
I cannot disclose the actual price of install because I know the service manager, and he told me never to let anyone know the price of the install. It was cheap, though.

I would expect to pay no more than 250.00 at a good shop.

Bijou - Bad is spending 5hrs replace two front struts! I dedicated 5hrs of my time this past weekend for a friend. I have lowered a car in 2 hrs. Also, I have lowered a car and replaced all 4 struts in 5hrs(slow because of the rusted nuts!).

pat ,your way past do on lowering your car! j/k
but you would get a slight differance in handling if you do get springs. becuase your struts are designed for mp3 rate springs.
