How do you make Vinyl Eyelids?

I really want to make my own vinyl eyelids so want to know from the people who made these.

1. Where is everyone finding the right color vinyl that matches the cars color. Mines Silver so need silver.

2. How is everyone cutting the patter the right size? Free hand will definately not come out even, and using a razor blade on the light itself with the sticker attached would seem stupid. So how is everyone cutting it to the right size?

Most people im sure get them from a tint shop that makes stickers. Go to one of these shops and see if they have a silver that would match that of your car. After that you can cut it to fit the light while its still on the backing. To get the other side straight without cutting into your light lay the vinyl on top of the light and using a marker and ruler create the pattern that you want and cut the sticker with a razor (on another surface) and the ruler to keep the cut straight. I really hope that makes sense.
