Hitch for 2011 CX-9 GT

We just got a CX-9 GT and I'm looking to put a hitch on it. It's AWD so it has the pre-towing package but I didn't want the factory hitch because I want the 2" receiver so I can use everything that fits my Jeep.

I've been looking around and can't find an aftermarket for the 2011 anywhere, can anybody confirm either way if a hitch compatible with a 2010 will fit the 2011?

2010's and 2011's are identical in regard to accessories, hitch included. Most aftermarket sources simply just have not updated their systems to allow 2011 CX-9 as an option, for a while.

If it is shown for a 2010, you can order for your 2011.

I just got a CURT hitch off Amazon. It was like $120, but yea one from a '10 should fit! I put mine on and it took about 20 min & it was on!

Same here, drop the spare, tip the the unit down and then angle past the exhaust heat shields. I missed a sale on it for $103 for the Curt Hitch, by 2 days. The harness can be purchased for Tascaparts on the cheap.
