Hiboosted Superprotege breaks the 11 second barrier for FS-DE Engine

theres a 3d gen that went 9s or 10s already before u anyway. orange one. neither are street driven. but in this thread were talking motors that came in the car protege.

Yeah but the guy said. First protg in the 11s. nothing else. I could care less if Im the first for anything. I bet there are a lot of protgs that run 11s or faster with the FS motor. Just because there not on the board posting about it does not mean its not happening. I know of a protege im sure no one but a few people on here know about that when it gets tuned its going to be a serious street car. But the owner of the car could care less about posting pics or info on it.

I want to congratulate my brother Manuel and Owen for this new achivement. This is what we all, HiBoost, Manuel (TBK Performance) and Owen, wanted. We really wanted to show the capabilities of our STANDARD kit. This is the most intersting of all. This is with the basic kit at its full potential with only forged rods. Remember that the pistons are stock units modified to a lower CR and to accept floating wrist pins.
Other than that, he has an LSD, ACT clutc, cryo treated transmission and a good driver.

I couln't celebrate as I wanted, since we suffered a very tragic loss in our family last tuesday.

It has been great for HiBoost lately. We managed an 11.7 in my Mazda 3 last week, then Best of show at Tampas show in a customer's car with a HiBoosted 2006 Mazda 3 and now first protege to run 11 seconds.

We are really proud about all this, since we have been the first in 13's, when lots of people said that with that kit it wouln't be possible, then a year after we made solid 12's and now 11 seconds. We will not stop here as Superprotege's car will be running our BIG BOOST kit very soon and hit the track again. For this we are not only thinking on the motor, but transmission, axles, etc.
