i'm in!! i want to try a fukus!! 20 mins per drive? just around a parking lot? must really want you to go over the car. should be interesting. they are not gonna hound us to buy a ford though, are they? 'cause we are mazda peeps!! lol

doh!! marlon wants me to test drive a mustang ... gt ... with a stick ... you think they'll have one? or is it just gonna be granny cars and grocery getters? i don't care, i'm in either way. glad to help out!!

There is no pressure from sales people they are there for info only.

My gf graduated from Normandy and I have a cousin that used to work there! Depending on work I'll be there! I guess I could cruise a fukus or a fiesta around the lot :P or a gt40 if need be...

got a reply to my email:

"All you have to do is show up and test drive a Ford here at Normandy. If you know what time is best I can put you on the schedule and if there is a particular model I can try and get you into it. Once your done driving a car, we will ask you to test drive a Focus and we get additional funds for that."

Normandy Athletic Director

Thanks for helping out. I don't have any kids in the district but I do see how hard they work. Helping them out this way is a no brainer for me. how many wing dings can you really go to?

C'mon folks this should be a no brainer as we can help out some kids out to raise money for their sports program. WTF, maybe they'll have a Mustang GT to drive or a Tarus with the ecoboost, maybe a focus st-r ( I know, they won't have a race built 100K car to test drive)......so let's help out a school in our community....

**** it I'm down. I'll call tomorrow. I'll Autocross an expedition for charity. That's what we're doing right? :-)

Thanks for the nice bump Marlon!! Ivan its just a test drive not an autox, if it were I would sign up to drive all the cars that they will have there.

What Lauri said. If they have performance oriented Mustang to drive I might be able to persuade my wife to come down for this since the lease on her Z is up next summer and she's already thinking about what to get next. I don't think there's anything else in Ford's line-up that would be of the slightest interest to her (or me).

On the list to look at so far: Another 370Z, Maxima, Camaro.

Taurus SHO............

My dad's company car is the Taurus SHO and it is really nice. Rides awesome, plenty of power, good gas mileage...

do we know what cars they will have there? can you find out marc, and list them up?

We are looking at an F150, Taurus, Mustang, Fusion, Focus ,and Fiesta. He wasn't sure on specific trim levels.
It will probably depend upon which cars that Bob Gillingham has avilable that day.
