HELP Spring install....

Okay I'm got my springs back onto the shock (using spring compressors) but I'm having a slight problem. Can somebody tell me if this is normal? I can see that the "bowl" shaped washer is slanted as it sits against the top mounting plate. The piston nut is fine though. I hope this isnt a problem or anything. Please help I'm trying to put the car back together! By the way this is for the rear strut. Thanks

As long as you have it tight you will be find. if it is not tight then that washer will rattle like no tomorrow. What you can do to make sure it's tights is take a pair of adjustable pliers and hold it by that washer the tighten nut down. It should be good to go. What springs did you go with Post some pics of it too!

IIRC, that washer is keyed. Just make sure it is lined up, then tighten the nut and you should be fine.
