I am new one this Forum, I need Some Information with my Setup, Someone Did Installation in my Car
I have Pioneer GM-D9601 with Pioneer W3003 DVC Sub-woofer
GM-D9601 Spec:-
mono subwoofer amplifier
500 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms (800 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms)
1200 watts RMS x 1 at 1 ohm
Pioneer W3003D4 Spec:-
frequency response: 20-80 Hz
power handling: 100-600 watts RMS
peak power: 1200 watts
But The Guy Installed Sub-woofer, He only plugged the cable on one coil on sub-woofer and did not plugged anything to second coil.
My Question:- How much rms I have per coil? if its 300rms each coil , its mean I am getting only 300rms output from sub-woofer with current Setup?
and 2nd question, I would like to change my sub woofer with Alpine Type R 12" SWR-12D4, Is my AMP is enough Powerful for that?
3rd Question:- how big Difference between W3003d4 vs Apline Type R 12" SWR-12D4
