Last night I was in Conn, visiting my cousins. We all went out and had a good time. I took the merrit pkwy up to their house in Stanford. The merrit is a awsome road with lots of twists and turns- Any MP3 would have a field day on this road:D - On my way back to the city, say 2am or so the road was empty and I opened the MP3 up the whole way home. I had such a blast driving home-nothing slower than 80mph- I have a renewed love for my MP3. the handling is excellent and it reminded me why I purchased her in 2001. Anyone who knows this road, knows the fun you can have on it. It took me 20mins or so to make it back into the city from Stanford-so I was moving.

And some Hyundi thought it could keep up with me in the turns... All it saw was my altezza tails, he gave up after the first 2 turns we encountered together.. Just though I would my fun experience with you guys..
I love my MP3

yeah the merrit can be real fun for that, I usually have my fun on the saw mill late at night =)

Hwy 77 from OKC to dallas is like that, goes through the arbuckle mountains so it also makes for some good scenery. On the note of things trying to keep up with you i had a gsxr 750 owner tell me i was a crazy ass because we took a turn side by side at 100mph it was funny.:D

Don't put altezzas on an mp3 :'(

Cool...nobody asked though.

The Merrit Rocks. I live in Stratford, right near the Merrit. Haven't seen too many cops on there, but there have been times where they've tried to camp. The road is just too thin for them to be pulling people over, unlike 95 where they have traps ALL OVER the place. If I'm ever going into the city, I always take the Merrit.

Everytime I go up there I take the merrit.. And its great when I am on my way home at night.. The road is 99.9% empty. I have taken many of my cars through the turns there. BUT I gotta sat my MP3 and my old Saleen mustang were the most fun.

And with the altezzas- to each his own-I like em and thats all that matters

I used to live in West Haven, CT and my family always took the Merritt down to 287 and the Tappen Zee Bridge (sp?). I loved that road. Does it still have those old cottage looking toolboths?
