so yesterday my car drove great all day, usually the first sign something is about to go wrong lol, took off from a light and got on it in 2nd hard and when I hit 3rd the car fell on its face and started running like crap, check engine light came on and started flashing, luckily I was only a mile from my place so I eased it home and read the dtcs when my obd scanner. came back with a p0301 which is misfire on cylinder 1, and a p0660, intake manifold control circuit. I replaced the plugs even tho they looked fine and already had my coil under warranty so I swapped that as well. car started right up idled perfect again. it drives well but when I start to roll on the throttle and it gets up around 4k it stumbles and jerks... any ideas?

The P0660 is your VICS solenoid being broken.

Missfire could be w number of things, considering you have it under heavy load, I would assume you have bad gas. If you accelerate hard when it's not all the way up to temp? What kind of gas did you use?

car was well up to temp, had been driving for 30+ minutes already. gas was Texaco 93 octane, I normally use shell but we were going the opposite way so that was my only option. the light doesn't come on for the p0660 tho but its on the scanner

Check your ignition coils and spark plug wires.

The poor idle/running and flashing CEL has happened to me twice. The first time it was a bad coil (I replaced both at the same time) and the second time a small gash in the plug wiring insulation was causing the spark to ground out on my valve cover.

Hope this helps.
