Cop said I was spinning my tires around a turn.. I was like.. "well actually it's this thing called a by-pass valve, and it makes that noise when I let off the throttle or switch gears... I really have no control over it." He's like "ok I believe you.. do you have any points?" "no" "ok have a nice day"
I woulda been pissed if I got a ticket

lmfao...I remember a couple of months ago before I got the speed I was driving my mom's maxima doing 80 in a 50 and swirving through traffic with no signal. Cop pulls me over gave me this really stern look and asked "Would you happen to know why I pulled you over". I told him that someone cut me off really bad and I was pissed. (which was true) So I just cut him off and proceeded to fly through traffic. I also mentioned that it was my fault and gave him all of my information before he could even ask. He took it over to his cruiser ran the s*** came back and just told me that normally he would have issued a ticket but he admired my honesty which people never seem to want to give. He tipped his hat to me and told me to be careful....:)

I was coming home last weekend at 3:30 am and got pulled over for 70 in a 40. I accused him of ridding my ass and making me speed up. He told me not to hit any deer and let me go. Woo Hoo!

Yeah, cops do like honesty. While not nearly as exciting as your story, I was in Seaside and drove into a parking lot through the exit and sure enough a cop saw me. I parked and got out and he just pulled up and I said I'm sorry right away. He said "You know what you did wrong?" And I was like yeah, I didn't realize. Later that night, I was 2 minutes over on the parking meter and got fined by a rent a cop. I got there as he was writing the ticket but he said once he starts writing, he can't stop.

no such thing as the point system anymore in the U.S. if you dont believe this or me, research for yourself. Cops usually make such a big deal about points because it was a big deal a couple of years ago....oh s***, not points officer??!

Um, no...The State of Colorado still uses the point system on driver's licenses. If you exceed the number of points you have, good bye license.

It is still in use today as every moving violation has some points assigned to it.

Some insurance companies actually check your DMV record in Colorado. If points are assessed, then it goes on the DMV Record and your insurance finds out and your rate goes up.
