I just want to know which turbo timer is the best one. I know there are no harnesses for the msp, but i've been stuck between different timers, and i need to buy one. I think i might get the blitz dctt II.. Just wondering.

happy with my greddy turbo timer. no complaints. for everyday use, i set it at 30 seconds and forget about it. if i'm running the car harder, i'll just adjust it to 1min or on a super hot day, i'd let it idle for a few more mins. any turbo timer should do fine.

i like my hks... btw ruskiMSP do u have a type 1 or type 0? if u have the type 1, how did u hook up the speed and rpm wires?

I got type 1, i had it installed when i bought the car (got it from bro).....can't believe this hasn't been discussed yet...

Any turbo timer is good, as long as it lets your engine properly cool down. I have a greddy that i haven't even installed yet. I should probably get on that.

$1.99 on ebay. They all do teh same thing, but make sure you do have one!!!11!!!

just to add, I have the APEXi TT, am very happy with it. it can be set manually or let it do it automatically, even the auto function has different settings for daily driving, harder driving and track driving. it is extremely small and the silver matches interior pieces of the msp. install was cake. but i have to agree with everybody when i say that they are all good. i know two people with Greddys that shorted out, that wouldnt discourage me from buying it though, i just really liked the features and the size of the APEXi, gives you your Time, your O2 voltage, Battery voltage and Air/ Fuel ratios, keep in mind that these a/f ratios are narrowband but it is in a digital readout which is nicer than the sweep back and worth of conventional a/f gauges

yo check it out, i talked to marashka on the forums (*my bro) i got the car from him, he installed the TT himself, he said you do everything right from the cluster not the ECU, just splice the wires and wire to the TT...he said it took him a while to figure out, just disconnect the battery if ur not sure about something, trial and error....good luck man...

APEXi makes a decent easy to conceal one as well
i concure, i have hid mine a couple of times when going to the dealer, very easy to hide the APEXi, it is as round as a ball point pen and about four inches in length.
