I have control of my timing for a change. . .
I have knock sensing and retard for pushing the envelope.
I have a setup that will allow me to take timing out of my (aggressive timing) MP3 ECU based upon rpm and boost, allowing me to reduce timing at peak torque levels (where you typicaly detonate) and yet bring it back at higher rpms for peak power. . . I have a system that will retard timing on 1 cylinder if it is misbehaving. . .as opposed to swapping ECUs and having less timing on all cylinders. . .
