swerved to miss a van that crossed 6 lanes in front of me as I was going about 70-80 mph. I spun a few times before I nailed the curb.

yeah, I made it out without a scratch, couldn't say the same about the car. Most of the damage was actually under the car surprisingly.

I actually didn't get a ticket, it was claimed as a hit and run and the insurance took car of it as an "Uninsured Motor Vehicle" accident. Not a bad deal.
