hey,

got a MS3 07' and it did this problem 2 times and was wondering what it was:

turn off the car, do some stuff, and turn it back on with a check engine light. rpm idle is okay. try to give it gaz but there's nothing. like if the gaz pedal wouldn't send the signal to the actuator to let the gaz in...

there's completely nothing when i push the gaz pedal...

then i turn off the car, unplug the battery a few seconds, start back the car and the gaz pedal works...

will try to get the engine code in a couple of days...

any ideas??

Are you still trying to run that engine on a blow-through MAF connected to the IC's cold side pressurized pipe and using stock ECU? Maybe that is sending crazy signals to the drive-by-wire throttle body control? Can't be good.

I just can't get past the word "gaz"....too funny

I didn't even realize the op was that guy until I read your post, then looked back at his other posts

I don't think his car is going to survive for much longer, if in fact its even alive right now

just to let you know guys, the car did that before installing the custom FMIC kit

and yes, now it did it the second time with the kit installed, so NO, it's not because of the installation i made, otherwise it woudln't of done it the first time when the car was stock

^ Agree. You way too many variables at play. Too many changes without fixing an old problem. New mods on top of an old problem.

I agree that you should remove everything added and go back to whatever configuration you had when the problem first surfaced. MAF sensor back where it belongs (careful with it). Stock TMIC and piping, couplers, etc. back in place and all clamps well-secured. Then diagnosis becomes much easier.

Find someone with a code reader. Us it. Write down all the numbers. There may be multiple codes. Then clear the codes, disconnect and reconnect the battery and start it up. If it still will not respond to throttle input let us know. If it throws new code(s) read them, write them down and post them here.

If problem persists, next step will probably be getting access to a good scan tool, Dash Hawk, etc., and try to data log while the problem is taking place.

But no matter what, you must fix this problem before modding.
