I'm selling my 98 mustang gt convertible. I am expecting to get about 12-13 grand for it. I really want a protege5 but i can't afford one with that. I mean i could save up another 4 grand to get a new p5 but i cant decide if its really worth it because iw as really hoping to put a system in my next car and that would be all the money. Why do decisions have to be so ruff.

I hate manuals so much. I think its the most annoying thing in the world. I will never buy a car thats manual unless its some sports edition car like a civic si or a msp. If it comes in automatic thats they way i get it. I have no interest in going fast.... otherwise i wouldnt be selling my v8 sports car. I just want a cool looking cruiser. I have no need for manual shifting.

Buy a used one, mine is a 2002 model, 5-speed, sunroof,6-cd for 12,500$, 22,000 miles.

You may want to check with come dealers because a lot of them will probably still give you financing if you work with them. Plus, you should be able to get a 0% APR which would allow you to do the 10k down payment option someone already mentioned and spend the rest on your system. So if your left with owing 5k, and finance it for 4 yrs @ 0%, its about 100 bucks a month. If you can't afford that, buy the geo listed above

I had a loan at 18, as long as you have a cosigner its fine and since I had one young and made all my payments and did the same with my credit cards, I have a great credit score and can get loans very easily for cars or homes now.
Why throw away $5K to get a new car no better then the one you have? Just put a system in the mustang, its a good car too.

It's a good car with gas and insurance thats gonna kill me when I gotta pay all of it on my own. Its also a cop magnet. And Mach 460 system means i gotta replace all the crap aat once which is to much work on its own. But I'm gonna talk to my parents about the cosign thing. I'm sick of the whole you got a v8 so you must race vibe that ppl give me. I hate speed i drive my car at 5 under the speed limit. I got all that power for no reason so i wanna get rid of it.

I am pretty sure you can replace the speakers in the Mock system without any other mods butonce you swap out the radio you will also need to bypass the amp and have replaced the speakers already or do it at the same time.
I have tried a few headuits in them and they make alot of clicks and pops trying to use the factory amp. Just do the speakers first then the radio.
But I could be wrong
