Have a set of Tein springs for sale. Never been put on a car (decided to save up for coilovers). Only been out of their box twice. Asking $180+ shipping.

Their in the mazdaspeed 3 section for a reason. But i suppose they'd fit a regular 3. Not really a suspension expert.

Ok out here in CA everyone switches these back and forth.. And tein offers diff sets for each car.. But, except for turbo weight.. I can't understand why they're diff?? So sorry it's more of a question.. And a free bump..

Well I ordered over the phone so I just told him mazdaspeed 3. So there's a good possibilty they fit the regular 3.

there are different part numbers for the 3 and mazdaspeed3. The rates are posted on Tein's website.

I would buy those if they dropped a bit more. I had them on my Pro5 and loved the drop on that car.

Please excuse the dirt, but I have these springs and they go lower than listed. I picked these up a year ago, so they are the ones made for the regular 3, but they work fine with the stock struts. I wouldn't advise going much lower because there isn't a ton of travel left in this setup. I think they feel great on the road and would buy them all over again. My .02.

Want to buy them all over again? Haha

Thanks for the insight.

I'm just going by the specs on their website and the pics they have there.

after looking at some old pics, I believe the springs have "settled" a little more than Tein claimed they would, because my car had a little more gap for a while after first installing them. I am tucked front and rear with the proper size tire. My pic is with 225/45/17's, which is shorter than the 215/45/18's. My car measures 2.5" lower front, 2.25" rear than my buddy's stock suspension/wheel/tire set up. This does include the tire diameter difference mentioned above since the cars were measured from the ground to the top of the fender/quarter openings.

well if you have the springs for a reg. 3 then of course its going to drop more cause the ms3 engine weighs more than the reg 3 thats why they say if you put stock ms3 springs on a reg 3 its going to raise the car than lower it just my 2 cents
