Yeah, thats really high. But they are his coilovers so he has the right to price them where he wants.

Also wondering about milage?
Do you still have the "stock" springs that came with the kit?
What lenght springs are the ones currently installed?

They are 3 years old but the car was not my daily driver. so only about 20K miles total. They are over $2200 new from AWR (with camberplates), and the Bilstein Shocks are revalvable and rebuildable (unlike K-sports or Teins). Bilsteins are also a much better quality shock overall. These are the best coilovers available for the Protege without stepping up to custom Koni Double adjustable shocks. $850 is about as low as I have seen these coilovers go for used.
The springs are all 8" Length x 2.5 Diameter (Eibach brand).
In addition to the 450#, and 600# springs, I also have a pair of 325#. However the car works much better with the 450/600 combo.

I paid $1200 for my AWR's which were used but a little newer, and the shocks re-valved. They are worth it.

Another thing about these Coilovers is that the Bilstein shock inserts are replacable. So if down the road you didn't want to send them off to have them rebuilt/revalved, you can just order direct replacements from Mazda Motorsports or AWR.

Yeah, $850 is definitely a good price for these. I paid over $1200 for my set which was used as well.

Good luck with your sale, and whatever you move on to in autocrossing!

bump for awesome coilovers. That FSP protege flew on these things, i really wish i could afford them.

check your email...

I sent that before I saw this thread BTW...
