Hey, I'm tryin' to get rid of my Motegi's; Dad is selling my car against my will, so I'm selling most of the stuff I had on it. Right now, I'm selling my 16" Motegi MR7 gunmetal wheels with Pirelli P7000 tires. The wheels are in good condition, save one; which has a pretty little bend in it, with a bubble on the tire. I spoke to the technician at Courthouse Tire(where I live), and he recommended that the wheels and tires be used as track tires; they could be used on the road, but it probably wouldn't pass inspection. I've had the bubbled tire on my car for awhile, with no problems, even at highway speeds(I used to drive 30+ miles to work each day). However, I figured it's only right to tell everyone before they buy that you should probably only use these wheels and tires as race tires, if at all. The Pirellis are in good shape(save the bubble), but probably don't have much mileage left on them. The wear indicators have just started to peek out on three of the tires; one tire is almost brand new. See pics below if they help. I'm not quite sure what to ask right now, I was thinking maybe $300+ shipping, but I'm more than willing to negotiate a price if people find this too steep. Thanks for looking guys.

EDIT: My email is lsnls@adelphia.net, or you can throw me a PM if interested.

Hahaha, I know whatcha mean. They were good to me, I mean I never really had any problems with them, save that they bend so easy. However, I think that's the case with all lightweight aftermarket wheels.

Anyone interested? Bump.

Oh, and I'll be happy to include my McGard lugnut locks with the purchase.

Bump. Someone please help me out. The price is now $250 + shipping. Any takers? Beuller? Beuller?

So your "tire professional" recommended that you run a failing tire at speeds and demand higher than that encountered on the street? Scary.
