For those of you who by State laws says you must display a front plate.
The below process will lower your plate by about 7 inches, and put a downward angle to it. It will also display the entire chrome grill piece.
1) Remove the license plate.
2) Remove the plastic mounting bracket.
3) Turn it around.
4) Now remount the bracket. Put the Screw-bolts into the now upper holes. The will attach to the body into the previous mounting holes that were for the lower mounting holes. Forget the 3rd screw/bolt. Even without it, the bracket is very tight.
5) Now re-attach the plate to the bracket. Use the original screws to mount to the bottom. You may want to add to extra screws to the top. Sharp screws will just go right into the mounting bracket.
