SOLD *** 2002 CDN Specs Proteg5
I made clear Lexan protector shields for the fog lamps (flat 5 3/4" circles, 1/16" thick). Does anyone have a suggestion to what adhesive I should use? I thought of industrial grade clear silicon so that dirt doesn't slip between shield and fog lamp.

Thanks

I would send a pm to Derrick1623 with your question. he usually doesn't check the p5 forum, but should know the answer.

I bought some from Stongard, and their adhesive sounds like what you are planning to use. Silicone Spray adhesive from 3M ought to work pretty good I would imagine. I think places like autozone sell it. Good luck!

curious as to what the shields you made protect, and from what are they being protected??

To protect the fog lamps from stones and other road debris. I live up north, we have a lot of things on the roads during winter that fly your way and the fogs are so low and vulnerable...my wife has a 2000 Civic and I installed hedlamp covers, both are cracked because of stones...shows how useful they are :D

Anyway, the shields I made don't work because the fogs aren't flat...I need to find something made for them...I called AutoZone and they could not help me:confused: and they don't ship to Canada:(, maybe someone out there knows where they are available...
