Flat battery causing all sorts of problems

Hi, I picked my 3 year old CX-60 up yesterday. When I got it home - sat on the drive for 10 mins setting seats etc up and I got a low battery warning and the whole thing switched itself off - with the windows down and couldn’t lock the doors.

It wouldnt jump start from another car so had to get break down out who managed to boost the 12V batery under the bonet enough to get the engine started. He said to run it for 10 mins and left but the engine cut out after 5 mins. ps the engine didnt sound good when he was starting it and the starter motor was turning over for a while.

This morning I have the EV section fully charged and she will drive on EV, but petrol engine wont start. Getting "Hybrid System Malfunction Have the Vehicle Inspected". Last night I was also getting "I Activesense Partially Disabled Drive Safely."

Is this a common problem?

Garage not open until Monday that I bought it off?

Can I simply get a car charger and charge the 12V battery up uinder the bonnet or is there more that needs to be done by the garage?

Any guidance / advice apreciated.
Thanks for any help.

First disconnect the earth (-) cable from the body of the car, then charge the 12V battery (a charger for a Start-Stop batteries required).

If you charge it without disconnecting, it will be charged technically speaking, but the car will not acknowledge it.
You must disconnect it for up to half an hour for the car to reset its idea how much it was charged.

A bonus of the disconnecting battery that long is also resetting bogus alarms like "Hybrid System Malfunction Have the Vehicle Inspected", "I-Sense Malfunction" and so forth.
